Kim was born in Ripon (Central Valley), California, USA. She has acted in a myriad of television series, primetime and daytime included! Ulrich currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, (prominent casting director) Robert, and their two sons, Cooper (Born 1993) and daughter, Tierney Joy (Born October 2000).

When not working, Kim enjoys cooking, gardening and interior design.
