Though we are going to be seeing Kamar de los Reyes’ character, Antonio Vega, back in Llanview briefly, the actor already has a big project on his hands since deciding to leave Daytime to explore other options in his career!

Right now, Kamar has been cast in the new Angelina Jolie movie “Salt!” Kamar will appropriately play a secret service agent in the film, which is based around a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (played by Jolie), who works to fight against those who think she is out to kill the president!

The film is set to be released on July 23, 2010, and will also feature his former cast mate Hunt Block (ex-Lee Ramsey), and we’ll be sure to keep our readers updated on any news prior to that!

Soaps.com wants to send Kamar our congratulates! Though this is not Kamar’s first film, it didn’t take long for him to bounce back into that other career direction he was looking for!
