One Life To Live Throwback Thursday Poll: Asa’s Parting Gifts
Leaving a piece of him behind.
In this week’s Soaps.com Throwback Thursday we take readers back to November 9, 2007 when Asa Buchanan’s family gathered for the reading of his will. Through a recorded video, Asa’s lawyer pressed play and allowed everyone to watch as Asa instructed him to hand out mementos…
Renee, the love of Asa’s life, was presented with a very large diamond. Asa reminisced about a horse that was special to him, much like his granddaughter Jessica, who was given a horseshoe – a lucky charm of his. Natalie, having come into the family late in life, was very much like Asa. Wanting her to know she was a true Buchanan, a photo of the Buchanan Family Tree was handed over to Natalie – so she’d never forget where she came from. His other granddaughter, Sarah, was touched to receive Asa’s record collection since they shared a love of music. His grandson Matthew happily accepted Asa’s Stetson hat.
Asa went on to apologize to his sons for not being a better father. Clint was gives Asa’s gold spurs, and Bo a gold sheriff’s star. His Texas ranch was left to his ranch hand, Chuck Wilson III, and the Buchanan Mansion was turned over to Nora, Matthew, Renee and Nigel.
Before the video-will ended, Asa stunned everyone with news… Do you remember what Asa announced to his stunned family? Vote your knowledge in our poll…
