Robert S. Woods submitted a scene for Outstanding Lead Actor from the June 14, 2011 Episode #10950. After a doctor recommended taking Matthew off of life support, his character, Bo Buchanan, was torn between letting his son go and saving his brother’s life. However, in the end Clint refused to accept Matthew’s heart.

Erika Slezak submitted a scene for Outstanding Lead Actress from the April 27, 2011 Episode #10917. During the special 40th anniversary episode, her character, Viki Banks, planned to get custody of Ryder and send Jessica to St. Ann's. Things became tough when Viki had to fight her alter-personalities Niki and Jean in an attempt to do so.

Eddie Alderson submitted a scene for Outstanding Younger Actor from the April 6, 2011 Episode #10903AA. His character, Matthew Buchanan, confessed to his parents that he killed Eddie Ford and remembered the night in question.
