On Monday December 19 “One Life To Live” will air a special soap within a soap fantasy episode. Roxy’s (Ilene Kristen) dreams come true when she wakes up, after passing out from the news that “Fraternity Row” has taped its final scenes, and finds herself within the soap opera. She’ll play Lorraine, who is described as the Erika Slezak (Viki) of “One Life To Live.” What’s funnier yet, Lorraine will be married to David Vickers (Tuc Watkins), with Viki and Clint (Jerry verDorn) as their maid and butler!
Of the special, Ilene told TV Guide, “This whole cancellation of “Fraternity Row” is a really brilliant way for our writers to comment on all the hell we’re going through at “OLTL.” It’s really great because I totally represent the fan base, all the wonderful fans who fought so hard to keep “OLTL” on the air. I represent the fans who showed up at the ABC upfront last May and booed [former ABC Daytime chief] Brian Frons when he walked into the building. And I’m proud to do so!”
