One Life to Live’s Bree Williamson And Brian Kerwin’s 38th Annual Emmy Nominations
Take a bow for the actors of Llanview.
Soaps.com wants to take time to recognize the actors of “One Life To Live” who made this year’s nominations list.
Actress Bree Williamson was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category for her role as Jessica Brennan, not to mention her character’s alter, Tess. Last year, Jessica was faced with the reappearance of her abusive father Mitch (Roscoe Born), who kidnapped her and erased all of her memories from high school on. Though it was tough watching Jessica revert back to being a senior in high school, and into Tess, it added so much dynamic to the relationships she had with both present and past characters.
Brian Kerwin was nominated in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor for his work as Charlie Banks. In 2010, we watched as Charlie dealt with his alcoholism, the death of his son Jared (John Brotherton) and the fight to be a better man and husband to Victoria Banks (Ericka Slezak). When anyone needed a sounding-board, Charlie was always there. Incidentally, Brian’s last day with the show is today May 11, so this Emmy nomination couldn’t have come at a better time.
Soaps.com sends Bree and Brian the best of luck on award night, which will take place live on CBS on June 19. For a list of the show's technical nominations please visit One Life to Live 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Technical Nominations.
