What if Nickally(Nick+Sally)got serious?

What if Nick and Sally got serious and came out as a couple?
How many people would have a problem with it?
1- Sharon
2- Phyliss
3- Adam
4-Victoria
5-Summer

Add: credibility.

If not, there have already been threads on this.

The story would have been interesting one and a half steps ago now.

Try everyone, but Nick’s children typically have issues when he dates. Faith had issues when Nick dated Avery and Summer had issues when he got back with Sharon. If Christian has a really big problem with Sally, what will Nick do? Would Adam use that against them?

After the way the Newmans reacted to Adam dating Sally – not liking her – let us hope that they react the same way to Nick dating Sally.

I guess we’re back to Sally and her “I’m awesome “ dialogue.
That dinner with Nick was painful to hear and watch.
Nick was obviously in the mood, Sally was not.
Now we get the same spiel about what a scrapper and fighter she is when she meets a new man.

its really no ones business but sally and nicks. I don’t see serious though.

Let’s not forgot Nikki. I think she’d lose her mind if she learned her son, in whom the sun rises and sets, turned to the red head, also known as that woman to Victor Newman. Furthermore, I think Victor would also take it very badly. Remember, ALL the Newmans are fine, conscientious, upstanding pillars of Genoa City.

Oh pleeze………the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
Nick learned from BOTH of his parents. Victor has been married far too many times to count. Nikki isn’t much better, Deacon, her young “boy toy” she used to meet at the Holel. Nick is a grown man, 50, single.
Bug Off !!!

Sally-hater, are we? To hate a character because of their dialogue doesn’t hold up. The writers create the dialogue, not the actor/actress that plays the character.

To be totally honest I’m on the fence leaning more towards dislike.
I’ve had a love- hate relationship with the girl since B&B. Hate when when she first appeared on B&B but loved her toward the end of her stint there. Same thing happened here on Y&R, hated her at first, loved her especially with Chloe (Chloe validates her in some way), now I’m back to being on the fence.
Incidentally I don’t dislike her because of her dialogue, I’m just tired of hearing it. I feel her dialogue, I’m a scrapper, my career, my job song and dance is the reason Adam did what he did. Maybe he felt the job was most important to her instead of him.

That makes sense. I liked her the entire team on both shows so there is more continuity in how I feel about the character.

I was initially annoyed when she kept saying Bucko but liked her nonetheless. I am glad Bucko was finally dropped from the character’s dialogue.

Not to mention Victor & Nikki both. It would not be ideal at all.

Best term of it all… SICK!

How about Sallick and hope they get serious and shove it in everyone’s faces. Remember his family still doesn’t care for Phyllis. I’m also a bit biased, I’ve been a major Sally fan since BnB and she’s the only reason I started watching YnR. I think her and Nick could become a true power couple as long as they both stay true to their stubborn drive.

Sick is the name that fits their ship perfectly.

Nick will end up hurting her like he does all the time. The only way for Sally not to be hurt is to become a shadow of herself and not make waves.

Not to mention that their relationship is meaningless in the way it was brought in just to give a role to Nick’s character going around in circles.

I have too. I think Courtney Hope is a phenomenal actress. I returned to watching Y&R, regularly, once I learned the character of Sally would be moving to GC.

Sally was the reason I also started watching y and r yet again. The CBS soaps just don’t hold my interest the way Days of Our Lives does, and sometimes GH. Sally, though, is one of my favorite characters ever. I think I like her so much because she isn’t a richy rich, born on third and thinks she hit a triple kind of gal.

I think Nick will drop Sally no matter what she does, just because that’s what Nick does. He creates trouble where there is none. That’s how I see Nick and his relationships.
