I know that EJ is innocent of this crime; however, he has gotten away with some many others. I am glad to see him on the losing end of a crime. I hope writers allow Chad to viciously fight back when EJ comes after him.
I loved it too except for one thing, I can’t stand Trask. If it was anyone else I would have enjoyed it more but she’s about the most unethical DA I’ve seen.
I love to hate her. This actress who plays her is just “fire” as the kids say. I completely believe her role as a corrupt DA. And while I don’t want a corrupt DA in real life, I love to watch this one!
I enjoyed watching her let EJ have it too, It’s too bad Sami wasn’t there so Trask could say what the heck is wrong with you to love someone like that.
I found it highly unlikely that EJ could be found guilty without direct testimony from Sami (oh sure she was too afraid to be in the same room as EJ, right ) and especially Jason who should have been required to testify in person since he is the one who helped finger EJ. EJ has a right to confront his accusers. Belle missed the ball on that. He could appeal on those grounds and subpoena Sami and Jason to testify in person. If push came to shove he could also appeal on the grounds of ineffective counsel.
I hear you Stefano_Rules, but I am happy to see EJ on the other side on the con.
I found it hard to believe that ej didn’t hire a pi to investigate the alleged witness, he’s a lawyer. I can’t believe that no one has discovered that to he witness and Lucas were at to he same jail at the same time.
