She keeps asking what causer Taylor to shoot Bill? Does she not know the entire story about his night with Steffy? Even though it was consensual, does she not know Bill played on her vulnerability, that night, and got her into bed, then hounded her for months because he wanted a life with her?

I also wondered about Katie’s carrying on upon learning. I remember that Brooke had just ended her marriage to Bill but I have forgotten what Katie was doing back then. Much of what Katie does is entirely forgettable for me. LOL!

I thought she did know, but maybe I’m misremembering. I almost thought that Katie wasn’t exactly what you could call sympathetic but sort of understood, at the time, that the whole thing wasn’t entirely Steffy’s fault either.

Not just that, she knew Bill was after Steffy. The whole scene at the office after Bill gave Steffy, his shares proves Katie knew all about it.

I think she knew they slept together, but didn’t know that Taylor and Ridge made it out to be something it wasn’t.
She didn’t know that Ridge told Taylor that Bill had raped Steffy?

I was asking the same question. I thought Katie should have known about this?
It is amazing she stands there and says now she knows everything and yet, she didn’t once say to Taylor what could Bill have done that was so bad that you had to shoot him? Instead, Taylor and Steffy kept it hush the why if the shooting and just implied it was something that caused her to react the way she did. Can’t blame Steffy and Taylor for not coming clean on the actual reason. Since they are playing as Katie didn’t know about Bill sleeping with Steffy then with all of her demanding questions she would have certainly demanded the reason and details of why Taylor shot him. Can’t believe she stands there and says she now knows everything.
Katie did know that Bill and Steffy slept together and why. Any one who had ever listened to Ridge knows that he never considered the sex to be consentual no matter how often Steffy told him that it was consentual so it is possible that Katie understands where Taylor’s mind set was without it being spelled out.

Katie doesn’t know about a lot of stuff. They let her like a kid on the show.
She knew Stephy had a crush.
Steffy certainly did not have a crush on Bill at the time he went out of his way to track her down, insisted he would not leave until she let him in, and then used her vulnerability against her. If you’re talking about years before that, Bill had told Steffy he was going to leave Katie and marry her—so, definitely more than just Steffy having a crush on Bill—and Katie did know how serious it was. In fact, she inexplicably got out of her hospital bed after multiple heart attacks and went across town specifically to tell Steffy Bill wouldn’t be leaving her for Steffy. Katie’s initial heart attack was also caused by Taylor telling her that she had caught Bill in her house about to sleep with Steffy before Taylor told him to get out, so she knew that the feelings were mutual on Bill’s part, and not just an unrequited crush. Bill also told Steffy that he was going back to Katie because of her having had heart attacks and implied he expected Katie was not long for this world, so it wasn’t that he didn’t love Steffy but that he pitied Katie, whom he had supposedly loved but to whom he had certainly been less than faithful before and during their marriage (and continued to be unfaithful to later with Brooke, Katie’s own sister).

Katie was fornicating with her stepson Wyatt, when Bill was acting all sexual predator to Steffy. Well maybe it was ex stepson at the time, but still very gross and nasty.
Katie hated how much Bill loved Steffy and freely gave her shares and a seat on the Spencer board. Katie was very jealous of Steffy. She even made Wyatt lie about Steffy and Bill’s involvement, so Liam could stay mad at Steffy and marry Hope.
Regardless of what Steffy denying Bill took advantage of her, many think what Bill did to Steffy that night was horrible and he took advantage of her. Their friendship/relationship was never the same after that night. Steffy didn’t like being around Bill and would tense up and look very uncomfortable, every time he got close.

This is exactly what happened. So to now rewrite Bill about going all crazy because Katie turned him down, is garbage. Bill had one foot out the door that entire marriage. Steffy was the one he wanted. The one he went to great lengths to try to get, and then slowly lost his mind after not getting her.

Really, Bill’s never been completely faithful to any woman. Even with Brooke, when she visited Bill, who was then staying with Liam at the Cliff House (when Liam still lived there and Bill still owned it), as he was looking at Brooke coming to a see him as a sign he still had a chance with her and telling her exactly that, Quinn was hiding in the closet. If Brooke had walked in five minutes later, she likely would have caught Bill having rough sex with Quinn. So, really, where does Bill get off going on about how all these women have walked out on him? He definitely walked out on Katie and Steffy, and how often has he claimed to want Brooke when he’s wanted someone else as well? Or would have happily turned to someone else if she turned him down. If all these women are now tired of playing his playing games with them, that’s his fault. They shouldn’t bear the blame for anything other than being dumb enough to fall for him and his professions of love in the first place.
