Paris has a damn good job plus she works for the Foresters…surely she can afford a place of her own??? And I’m sure she could have leased out Zoe’s old apartment, it couldn’t hv been that expensive! Dang writers, I know you could have been more creative, in finding a way for Paris to get involved in Steffy and Finn’s life, than having her not able to afford a place to live??
What I don’t get is why she couldn’t have stayed with Zende? They are dating, yes? She doesn’t even have to sleep in the same bed as him either if she don’t want to. I mean Zende should have some big Forrester money since he is a part of the family. I’m sure he’d have a spare room for his girlfriend. Or heck, why didn’t she go to the boss man and tell him about her situation? I’m sure he could have let her sleep in the guest house for a little bit while she saved up some money for her own place. But no! Instead we get Three’s Company. This is not going to end well. I can already see it…
Why. Pulsar she just stay at the hotel until she found a place?
Zende lives with Eric so she could have stayed in a spare room:
Maybe it’s because she is a social worker and heads a foundation. I don’t think they make a lot of money. With LA being expensive she might not be able to afford anything right now.
That could be it…it just seems that if you work for the Foresters, you should at least be able to afford an apartment?
This is definitely plot driven. It would have been more realistic for Steffy to connect her with her realtor.
Btw. I did not understand Thomas staying in Vinnies apt
As a social worker Paris might not have been well paid but as the executive of the FC Foundation I think that she will be being paid much better than if she had gone into actual social work. Paris job is not just to dole out funds but she needs to raise funds for the foundation. I could easily see that she might be making the low 6 figure salary (because it is LA we are talking about) or the high end of the 5 figure salary.
Oh okay, now that makes sense…so the more funds she raises for the company, the higher she gets paid??
Zende is living at erics
Flo has an apartment while she was working at a bar
Why can paris afford somewhere
Shes just to dollar stor version of dayzee
i am just going to say it, they are being Cheap saving money on the sets, once more! Liam and hope should have a place of their own and Paris can move into the tool shed! Knowing Liam, Hope will have to buy their home!
Paris is a freeloader and wants everything for free.
Exactly. Why can’t see find a place of her own? And why would Steffy offer her a place to stay for free? She and Finn and going to be newlyweds and need to have their own space.
Normally when one or both members of a couple invite a third (unrelated) person into their home with no end-date, it doesn’t bode well for them. It’s an attempt to have a buffer to avoid something - maybe commitment itself. Even if it’s not the conscious intention, it tends to be the result. One partner will end up feeling squeezed out of the relationship due to lack of alone time - it might even result in them competing for the attentions of the third person. From there, anything could happen…
I don’t really think Bell is across all these subtle dynamics. He’s very simple minded. To him, it’s “Steffy and Finn are blissfully happy, then a third person arrived on the scene and upset the apple cart.”
As members of the forum, we’re thinking the ramifications through in a lot more depth because that’s our reaction to what we’re seeing. I wish the writing was up to the calibre of this forum. It used to be a lot more sophisticated - to the point where I was convinced there was a psychologist involved in the consulting. But this is back in the days when Taylor was still a good character. Baby Bell has torched all the characters with his simpleton stewardship .
