Get rid of Crimson Lights

I love Crimson Lights. It’s the perfect gathering place for Sharon’s family.

True, it is. But I often wonder how it can be profitable without other customers! On the other hand, we don’t see many customers besides family and friends at Society or even Phyllis’s hotel. Would be nice to see other customers.

I like the coffee shop. I don’t need to see people constantly drinking alcohol at Society or the GP. It is a cozy looking place for people to gather and talk. :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t get rid of CL, just get Sharon out of there. She could sell it or have someone run it for her. Sharon’s character has been so dumb downed. All she does is give free advice with a cup of coffee. The writers need to give her something to do. She supposedly has her degree, give her an office that she can pretend to go to like everyone else…….lol
Besides, it’s the best place for everyone to eavesdrop !

Sharon has invisible clients; she’s mentioned them. So for all we know, she has an invisible office as well.

I think CL (coffee shop) has 4 booths, 3 or 4 tables, (only one is being used at one time) and the counter for talking and faking putting creamer in your coffee cup that is as light as a feather. Then go out to the spacious “patio” which had one table with 3 chairs and a counter along with the see-through exit door (for people to peer through, unnoticed by everyone, of course) And of course only the upper crust of Genoa City go there.

I love Crimson Lights too. It gives a lighter feel to the scenes than a stuffy work office.

Too much eavesdropping and secret revealing goes on at Crimson Lights for them to get rid of it.

Hate this outdated, dirty, set. Time for a change. It needs to be updated or GOODBYE.

They did give it a slight makeover. They got rid of those 20-year-old Fringe tables and they updated the counter. But they still have that creepy puppet shadow box above that booth. And they also seem to have added two big googly eyes next to it.

Sharon got lots of money she don’t need customers

What about “Cassie’s corner”?? When Mariah showed up, it seemed to just disappear from CL.

And you never see anyone pay, ever. They come up, get a cup of coffee and walk off to set down or over to the counter to put stuff in it. Half the time, the women do not even have purses with them.

Agree they don’t need to get rid of CL, just Sharon, Coffeehouse Therapist. Sharon providing therapy sessions to customers having personal problems is getting a bit old.

The show just needs to get some extras. Like on GH, there are always people in the scenes. What budding actor wouldn’t do a scene on a soap? or just drag some fans in off of the street.

I think the show needs the gathering spots. I like the coffee shop and of course, the apartments upstairs.

Yes, I wrote in another post somewhere, GH and Days both have a much larger staff of actors and lots of extras. Things look more realistic and there are MANY more storylines on those shows. Honestly, I don’t know how Y&R can keep coming up with anything, everyone has slept with everyone, all the kids have are related in some sort of half sibling way, it’s ridiculous. The redundancy of Adam and the rest of the Newmans is beyond old, and getting rid of Ashland was a big mistake. JMO

I saw that too! Very creepy indeed

Kevin was the one who created that Shrine to Cassie.

Dylan got rid of it when he bought the place.

I’ve been heavily promoting General Hospital too. I am so blown away by the number of actors. Different races. Different ages. Different shapes and sizes. Everyone has a home that they actually live in and you see. They have Recreation facilities that you see. They have a stable that looks more like somebody’s Den with a live horse, but at least they have a stable and a horse. And there are background extras Galore! And almost nobody meets in public places to discuss business. They actually discussed that in offices.

I just started tuning into GH during the pandemic, I am blown away at all the different s/l’s ! Also, you are right at all the regular looking people on the show, races, ages, sizes, etc., wearing regular clothes ! :flushed:
BTW, they sure win A LOT of awards so………
