Elena needs to

Go to Lily and Devon and tell them about Nate’s plan. She knows everything. Nate and Victoria are breaking the law. If she loves Nate and his family she would inform them of this plan. So far she left Nate and living in the GP.

She told him he is greedy, selfish and it will hurt the family. I would tell them right away.

I doubt she’s going to tell anyone. She’s all about family and love, and telling Devon and Lily what Nate is up to will only cause everybody pain. And she’s probably hopeful that Nate will change his mind.

Elena needs to count her losses and move on . Give a two-weeks notice, and leave with no further discussion. She tried to reason with Nate and he refused to listen. She shouldn’t tell anyone, just let them deal with the consequences. Lily and Devon are such great leaders, everything will be just fine. :smirk: Jill made this decision and so certainly she is aware of the risks. Elena should just focus on her medical career and stay out of this family drama.

Everything that Elena said to Nate today, was right on the money. He has no consious in hurting the people he claim to love and it is about family not who is BEST in business. It looks like Nate is running into a disaster and his INFLATED EGO is all to blame.

Nate might have it in for Devon, but what he is doing will affect Jill, Lily and Billy, not just Devon. On the other hand----if Jill, Lily and Devon are supposed to be so savvy in business—(and Jill certainly should be since she has run Chancellor for many years, plus she also has experience of being scammed by Colin), then, since they are going public BUT want the families to retain 51% of the control, I would sure hope they would be smart enough to make it ironclad, so, Nate can NOT sell off his shares to Victoria, giving Newman control. They should have it written that no family member can sell their shares to anyone other than the principal shareholders. While I hope Nate gets nailed for insider trading since he is acting like a spoiled child, I sure hope he isn’t allowed to just sell his shares to Victoria, but if he is, then it is the fault of Jill, Lily and Devon that they didn’t protect their company.

I totally agree and posted similar there should be some contract NO selling shares for a certain amount of time before and after IPO AND if selling shares MUST offer to Jill, Lily/Billy, Devon FIRST in writing

Nate has it in for Lily and Jill too. Lily talks out of both sides of her mouth. To Nate’s face she is supportive and thinks his ideas are the bomb, but she doesn’t really go to bat for him with Devon either. She brings up the topic and then after Devon has his tempered tantrum, she backs down and goes along with Devon.

I would like Elena and Adam to meet - both staying at the hotel. She tells him all about Nate’s plan and the story continues…

I agree that she won’t tell them anything. She is not that type of character, to go blabbing and being a tattle tale. Elena probably doesn’t feel that she is responsible for what Nate decides to do.

There should be non-compete/confidential information clauses in Chancellor employee work contracts. Imani was asked about Nate’s work contract when he first quit and flounced out, but she never returned to that subject with Lily and Devon. I suspect she has eliminated those agreements to keep Nate out of trouble when it’s discovered he’s betrayed his employer and family. Imani is Nate’s insider support system for Nate’s bold move to takeover Chancellor and will do whatever is necessary to move his plan forward.

I suspect Elena moving out is hoping Nate will stop his plan because he lost her.

Hope something stops Nate from continuing, or else, he could be in prison insider trading and will Imani help him??? NOPE

There’s every possibility that Victoria double-crosses Nate (she doesn’t trust Nate willing to betray his family, and he’s not a Newman – Shades of Neil Winters) and left out in the cold with the rest of the Winters.

Nate will lose his mind for being out-foxed and Victoria will remind him that giving him the CEO of Chancellor immediately means he will be sued by his family and charged with insider trading – And Victoria is protecting her inside source from prosecution.

Imani is more corrupt and hot for Nate than we can imagine.

I thought the same. Those relationships are at best fractured, and if she shares what she knows then they’ll be smashed to bits, and Nate will be alone. Elena doesn’t want that for him. She’ll holding out that appealing to his better angels will work.

But that would make sense!

Ditto. I don’t like this about face that he’s done. What I liked about the character was that he was one of the few (mostly) decent people in GC, and he managed to be interesting without being dull. I’d love to see him find his way back to medicine. His surgical career may be over, but his career as a physician doesn’t have to be.

That is exactly right…That is the only way to protect the 51%…. Jill and her Board of Directors AND the Legal Department would know this!!
