Different take on Queric

I know Bell doesn’t write with much depth, but I think there is the opportunity for it with Queric.

Maybe Eric’s problem was never physical and was caused by his wife’s betrayals. Yes I know Eric has done plenty wrong in his life and he forgives almost everyone of everything. Eric rarely forgives his wives though. The only time I can remember him forgiving and staying with a wife was when Ridge and Quinn had their fling.

Eric could have a complete mental block with Quinn that is preventing him from being intimate with her. That would explain why he could get aroused with Donna but couldn’t perform with Quinn. He obviously loves her and wants her, he could have had Donna in that moment but he left to find Quinn. Eric’s problem could be subconscious and he doesn’t even realize it.

If Eric wanted his family to quit talking about his problem then he should have went in the office with a smile on his face and pretended that he and his wife had reconnected so that maybe they would then quit badgering him.

I am totally disgusted by the fact that Eric would confess to Donna that he was still not able to make love to his wife. Eric´s problem may stem from the fact that everyone is telling him that he should not love Quinn. I think what Eric liked was that Donna was not running down his wife to him so he felt that Donna was not judging him as Brooke, Ridge and Katie have been judging him.

That’s interesting, maybe he feels too much pressure from everyone.

Bell does not go that deep. And another problem is also what @stargaze wrote. Eric tells them way too much about his problems. So what if Donna was not judging him? Quinn is still better off without him because of that alone, since Donna will use that information to gossip with her sisters anyway.

That is unless Eric even cares about that, Eric needs to distance himself from these rats.

Do most 80+ year old men “get it on” with their wives every night?

I have no clue , according to the soap they do. Maybe it is just wishful thinking by the male writers :joy::joy:

Im not 80+ but im certain the answer is NO course not. Pretty pathetic that Eric seems to need sex this badly. And off course the tramp of all tramps is promoting it.

Thankfully im enjoying GH right now in regards to the Nina vs Carly battle.
And im on the edge of my seat for CIN on DOOL in regards to the possessed Marlena story.
Even that is better, compared to this mess.

I thought I was one of the only people enjoying Mardevil lol.

I too am loving every second of GH right now. So much going on there.
I wasn’t sure about how Days was going to handle the repossession. So far I think DH is doing a fantastic job.

i do like it, but it still has flaws too. Bit annoying that Marlena did not tell John about it herself. He did the exorcisme on her himself (or with another priest, not sure) the first time back in the nineties. All of a sudden now John has no idea what to do? I only care about the CIN baby.

Meanwhile based on the latest ratings, B&B is losing viewers.

Yes, I am completely hooked on GH right now! Days is ok as well, certainly better than Bold & Beautiful. Should be Bad & Boring! Anyhow, they are losing ratings, maybe that will finally make BB realize that the Logans are not the hero’s of this story

IMO Eric never got over Quinn sleeping with Carter. He chose to stay with Quinn because he did not want to be alone. He stated that to Brook & Ridge several times. So he offered that ridiculous and offensive “Sleep with Cater scenario”. If Quinn truly love her husband, sleeping with Carter would never had happened. No matter how many times Eric threw them together.

I never bought into “ Quinn deserve to have an intimate life and the only thing to do was having sex with Cater” They are other ways Eric could have satisfied her sexual needs. Eric should have used those options.

Deep down Quinn wants Carter. They are a better fit. Although it better happen fast. The Cater/Katie pairing is on the near horizon.

I’m sick of Eric always “judging Quinn”, like he is so surprised, that she is a free spirit with a closet of skeletons. Just sick sick of him preaching to Quinn like she a two year old, this man doesn’t have a moral bone in his body. He knew who she was before he married her. The biggest mistake to do is to marry someone, who you want to change. That’s just wrong wrong, if you love the person, guess what you have to love the good and the bad. You can’t have an Exorcist to get rid of the bad.

This ED story makes no sense at all, it’s not real. All his doctors can’t fix him, but a bottle of honey can. He wants to make love to Quinn, but Donna who he doesn’t want, can make him happy with the honey! Then Eric had his ED problem, Before all the Logans knew, so it’s not the stress from everyone knowing he has ED and they want to get rid of Quinn. Eric problem exist, because Bell wrote this story illogically.

Wow I did not think about that. I really, really, really hope you are right. I want Eric and Quinn together, in love and sexually active.
