Carter quinn and her job and boundaries

SOES eRIC REALLY HAVE A RIGHT TO SAY WHO Carter sees? I do not think so.

I’m already sick of this storyline. Why is Carter acting like Oliver Twist begging for a bowl of gruel?
This “The Foresters” is like family crap is ridiculous. Carter has an ACTUAL FAMILY that he was the favored child of. Why is their approval so important?
He had an important career before them. Why does this job matter so much that he’d allow them to treat him like it’s his privilege to breathe their air? It’s all much too “on the plantation” for me.

Yeah it’s beginning to smell. Not a good look B&B.

This show lives for dumb drama too, I think they want Quarter to get caught. It would be kinda boring if Carter just resigned and walked away. I personally want to see Carter being forced to make a choice.

There is no reason to keep working for these losers. Something could happen that would for Carter to cut the cord.

Carter is beginning to look like a cad, and as long as Quinn is at his beck and call he’s going to continue doing what he is doing.
Care enough for Quinn to choose her over a freaking job. He’s getting his ego stroked. Quinn should have her fun if that’s what she’s calling it and move on from these men that only hold women accountable for their actions.

I am waiting for Carter to reach the breaking point when Quinn sticks to her guns and does not answer to Carter´s beck and call. If Quinn wants Carter to keep his job then she is going to have to be the strong one because Carter right now Carter does not have the backbone to stand up for what is right.

It is Eric’s company–no shareholders. He has a right to put conditions in regards to Carter remaining with the company. Carter should have been man enough to say to Eric-thanks but no thanks and no one dictates who I sleep with or don’t.

Carter is a great lawyer. He may have to take a little longer to get a similar position if Eric blackballs him. However, Carter is weak and thinks he can work for Eric, lie to him, and sleep with Quinn without any fallout. Can’t wait till the fallout happens and
see how Carter recovers.

But Steffy has the exact same amt of shares as Eric, ridge 20% and Thomas 5%, so there are shareholders…it is not solely Eric’s…

I’m tired already of this story…cause I know where it’s headed. Carter is $%#@ wooped! and he is gonna be led around by Quinn because of it. Both Carter and Quinn are going to be saying the same lines of having " to resist their urges" all the while still ending up in bed together, and Brooke is going to somehow sniff out that they are still seeing one another…Yada Yada Yada yada. Was hoping the writers would be more creative this time…

Great writing ended when old man Bell stopped. His son has been unable to create characters of interest, to give enjoyable storylines, and all he seems to be able to do is give up believable stories and to ruin characters we love.

meant to say unbelievable stories.

Also, wish Pam and Charlie were back.

I agree. The character of Carter is being ruined. What lawyer represents a man in his divorce, and rubs to his lover to give her the details of the soon to be ex husband’s demands? Couldn’t Carter have legal troubles of his own? At the very least it’s unethical.

He should have been man enough to refuse to stay at Forrester. He’d have no trouble getting a good paying job elsewhere in Los Angeles.

What details did Carter reveal to Quinn. FC wants to keep her jewelry line with the stipulation she work strictly remote.

To Brooke’s (the third woman in the marriage) delight Quinn is forbidden from entering the FC premises. Good ole Eric still playing hero to Brooke. What a man.

Maybe Carter is supposed to write Quinn a letter not deliver the demands in person accompanied with mood enhancer.

I doubt Carter has violated the terms of his contract because I don’t think a boss can dictate someone’s love life. Eric did refuse to accept Carter’s resignation.

I agree Carter needs to recuse himself as Eric’s divorce lawyer but I think it would be soapier if Carter helps Quinn take Eric to the cleaners. Although I doubt that’s the way it’s going to go. I’d imagine Quinn is just going to accept each one of Eric’s demands.

The notion that Carter is representing Eric in the divorce is just nonsense and really an insult to the intelligence of us viewers. I know we are not watching “real life”, but come on???

:clap:t4::clap:t4::clap:t4: yasss I totally agree. I’m getting tired of carter and Quinn Carter is sooo weak where quinn is concerned. Ok we know their having sex but do we have to see this mess every day?? It just looks like carter is her lap dog. Idk this s/l is ridiculous the entire show is ridiculous

I am not so sure that I see Carter as Quinn´s lap dog. I see Carter as being completely responsible for what is going on between them. Carter is the one that is not allowing Quinn to walk away.

Carter is the one that should hand in his resignation and do what he said he could so, Carter should be immediately looking for another job if he wishes to continue with Quinn. Quinn does not want to force Carter to give up the new position that he has just acquired.

I don´t understand why she does not understand that Carter will never be able to get back to where he was with Eric and Ridge or any of the Forrester´s for that matter. Yes they may save the majority of their hatred for Quinn but now they do not really trust Carter.
