If you are planning to attend the Guiding Light Fan Club weekend in September, you may want to pencil the following events into your plans. Kati Mac, the singer who sings and write the new GL theme song “Only Love”, will be performing on Saturday, September the 27th at the Cutting Room. The venue is located at 19 W 24th St. between 5th & 6th Avenues in New York, NY 10010. The show will start at 7:00 PM.

Former Gus and Harley, Ricky Paull Goldin and Beth Ehlers, will be hosting a brunch on Sunday morning during the weekend. Kellari Taverna will be the setting for the event which will also include other ex-cast members of the series. A Greek brunch menu will be served along with a cocktail and special dessert. Each guest will also receive a goodie bag to mark the occasion. The “Cooper Family Brunch” will be held on Sunday, September the 28th between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Kellari Taverna, 19 West 44th Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues) in New York City. Meanwhile, Marcy Rylan (Lizzie Spaulding) and Tom Pelphrey (ex- Jonathan Randall) will be joining together once again to host another benefit play reading. This time, the benefit is for The Apothecary Theatre Company, which Pelphrey just happens to be a member of. The new theater company is made of a group of actors, directors, and playwrights who studied at Rutgers University, as well as at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. Their goal is to produce one or two plays each year and develop a new unpublished play through a series a workshops culminating in a world premiere production. This reading is being given as part of a planned tradition to start every season with a staged reading of a new work.
