Montel Williams to Guest Star on Guiding Light
Guiding Light will be getting a unique guest star in a few weeks. With Remy Boudreau suddenly becoming a focal character this summer, we’ve been seeing more of his family once again. In the past two weeks, we’ve had numerous appearances from his over-achieving sister Mel, but now his parents are set to return. Although Kim Brockington will be resuming her role as Dr. Felecia Boudreau, the part of Remy’s father, Clayton, has been recast with television talk show host Montel Williams. He will be taking over the role of the rarely scene patriarch from Peter Francis James.
Williams is no stranger to the world of daytime. He has been hosting his self-titled talk show since 1991, picking up a Daytime Emmy for his work in 1996. He has also made the leap into soaps before, playing a Judge on All My Children in 2002 and himself on the same series the following year. Williams has also stretched his acting muscle on shows like Jag, Touched by an Angel, American Dreams, My Name is Earl and the recent film War Inc.. The final episode of The Montel Williams Show aired on May the 16th, 2008.
You can see Williams and Brockington on August the 1st and the 5th.
