Born in Bronxville, New York, Tina Sloan was educated at The Ursuline School and Manhattanville College. She has studied acting with Bob McAndrew and Warren Robertson. Sloan appeared in the Woody Allen films Celebrity and The Curse of the Jade Scorpion. She can also been seen in the films Changing Lanes with Ben Affleck, The Guru with Marisa Tomei, and People I Know with Al Pacino. No stranger to daytime television, Sloan has had recurring roles on the soap operas Search for Tomorrow (as Patti Whiting), Somerset (as Kate Cannell), and on Another World (as Dr. Olivia Delaney.)

Sloan joined the cast of Guiding Light in 1983 as nurse Lillian Raines. A marathon runner, Sloan has completed races in Paris, London, Honolulu and Washington, DC and competed in the New York City and Los Angeles Marathons. One of her greatest physical successes, Tina climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and the Annapurna Refuge in Nepal. She describes many of these and other life experiences in stories written for her website, www.mysnowangels.com. Tina is married to Steve McPherson and they have one son, Renny. She lives in New York City when she is not busy traveling around the world.
