Born in Santa Monica, CA, to her late parents Grace and Richard Keifer, Liz and her four siblings, John, Brian, Mary, and Jim, were raised in Pacific Palisades, CA.

While they were growing up, Elizabeth's sister Mary was always singing, and participating in community productions. Each time one of the productions needed a child, Mary would volunteer her little sister, Liz, who in turn grew to love acting, eventually making a career out of it!

Keifer, studied acting at the Academy of Stage and Cinema Arts and Voice at the University of California in Los Angeles. She has played in numerous daytime dramas as One Life to Live as Connie O'Neill, Angela Lawrence on The Young and the Restless , and Camelia McKay on General Hospital. She also appeared as a spy on Days of Our Lives.

Keifer has many television appearances in Primetime as well with shows such as Cheers, Married...With Children, The Facts of Life and Full House.

In her spare time, Keifer, enjoys hiking, singing and getting lost in the romance of old Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant movies. You may be surprised to know that she holds a brown belt in karate! Keifer and husband, builder Robert Convertino, are the proud parents of Isabella Grace and Keifer Jack.
