Sasha tells Willow the truth GH

Ava returns home to Wyndemere and tries to sneak off to her room, only for Nikolas to open the doors to the living room and surprise her with a romantic setup of candles, champagne, and desserts. She reminds him that she made her position clear that as long as Esme is here… Nikolas cuts her off and says Esme isn’t there, and she is free to go back to the mainland thanks to his mother. Ava wonders when she’s moving out. Nikolas admits they haven’t set a date yet. However, she went to the mainland to tell Spencer the good news and promises that Esme is leaving soon. He says once she’s gone, all their problems go with her. Ava tells him, “No, they won’t.”

Ava tells Nikolas when he invited Spencer and Esme to move in, she realized they had bigger issues. Ava doesn’t trust him and knows he doesn’t trust her. They argue, and Nikolas asks how he is supposed to trust her when she always has one foot out the door. He asks if he should be expecting divorce papers soon. She cries that won’t happen because she loves him. He doesn’t believe her, so she pulls him into a kiss and tells him to believe it.

They fall onto the couch, but Ava quickly puts a stop to things. She says their problems won’t go away if they keep distracting themselves with sex. He wants to prove she can trust him. Ava tells him that trust is earned and built over time, and he can’t fix things with grand gestures. Ava leaves, and Nikolas pours a drink on the candles to put them out.

At the gallery, Trina tells Spencer that she’ll leave him a to-do list so he can get back to that twisted witch and the love of his life. Esme arrives as Spencer says, “She’s anything but that.” Trina wonders which one, the love of his life or a twisted witch. He explains things with Esme are complicated. Trina accuses him of giving her mixed signals and being jealous of Rory. She tells him he threw away their friendship for his psycho girlfriend.

Esme emerges and accuses Trina of being the psycho. Spencer wonders why Esme’s there. Esme came to tell him that Laura forced Sonny to back down and she’s safe now. She then taunts Trina, who she accuses of poisoning everyone against her, about how it feels knowing she sees through her good girl act. Esme warns Trina the next time she lies about her there will be consequences.

Trina tells Esme that she sees her as the pathetic, needy psycho she is, and one day everyone else will too. Trina laughs that Esme will be alone with nobody else left to fool except maybe “that idiot,” referring to Spencer. Trina has to put some things away and tells Esme the gallery is closed and orders her to leave because she’s trespassing.

Alone, Esme is upset with Spencer and asks about the guy Trina accused him of being jealous of. He says he wasn’t jealous of him, and it was the cop who arrested him. He promises that she’s the only one he has eyes for. Trina returns and hides in the background and listens. Esme seethes that Trina drove a wedge between them, and she can’t wait to watch everyone at her trial see what a backstabbing snake she is.

Spencer orders Esme to stop talking about Trina like that. He notes all this anger she’s holding onto can’t be good for her and tells her to let it go. He promises her this will all be over soon and she and Trina will never have to see each other again.

At the hospital, Carly sticks around to support Willow in the light of Harmony’s accident. Joss arrives and asks why she’s in the ER. Carly tells her the whole story, and Joss doesn’t understand why Harmony attacked her in the first place. Carly explains that she found out something about Harmony that Willow doesn’t know, but she needs to.

In the chapel, Willow doesn’t understand why her mother was in the middle of the woods walking down the road. She cries that for the first time in a long time she’s felt her mother’s love and she’s not ready to lose that again. Michael believes Harmony is a fighter and will fight to get back to her.

In a hallway, Sasha reaches for her pills but is interrupted by Gladys. Brando arrives and Sasha rushes into his arms and cries she may have killed Willow’s mother. Brando asks her to start from the beginning so they find a bench and sit. Sasha explains this photographer was taking photos of her at the Metro Court, so they left. She continues that the photographer chased her in his car, and Gladys takes over and explains Harmony just ran out into the road.

Gladys blames the sleazeball photographer for chasing them. Brando asks why he was chasing them? Sasha cries he had a reason, and Gladys admits she stole his memory card. Sasha yells none of it matters because Willow will never forgive her if Harmony doesn’t make it. Brando notes this isn’t her fault, and she needs to tell Willow what happened. Sasha eventually agrees.

Sasha and Brando find Willow and Michael in the chapel. Willow explains they were about to check on how her mom is doing. Sasha tells Willow she knows this is a terrible time, but they need to talk alone. Michael and Brando leave, and Willow asks what they need to talk about. Sasha cries she’s so sorry but she’s the one who hit her mother. She explains it was an accident, and her mother came out of nowhere.

Willow asks if Sasha was with Carly and Alexis. Sasha says she wasn’t, she was coming from the Metro Court. Willow asks if it seemed like her mom jumped in front of her car on purpose. Sasha explains it happened so fast, and she felt it was more like Harmony didn’t see her. Willow doesn’t understand any of this and needs to know why her mom was in the woods stumbling into the road.

In the hall, Smoltz confronts Michael and Brando and taunts that his sources say Brando’s wife ran down a pedestrian. When he calls Sasha “the face of collision,” Michael holds Brando back from punching him. Smoltz points out that he has the first amendment to protect him. Brando tells him that only protects him from the government, and he’s not the government. He warns him if Smoltz writes one word about his wife, nobody will ever find him again and he doubts the journalistic world would miss him. Smoltz cowers away, and Michael asks what happened with Sasha. Brando tells him that Sasha is the one who hit Harmony and relays what he knows. Michael suspects his mother might know more about what is going on.

Elsewhere, Carly is shocked to see Gladys. Joss excuses herself when she gets a call, and Gladys asks Carly if she heard anything about Harmony. Carly hasn’t, and Gladys reveals Sasha is the one who hit Harmony. Gladys feels Sasha can’t take much more, but Carly says she’s weathered much worse situations. Gladys explains something happened tonight, and Sasha was panicked, desperate, and she snapped. Joss returns, so Gladys takes off.

Gladys steps into the elevator and looks at the photographer’s memory card.

Back in the chapel, Carly appears and tells Sasha she needs to talk to Willow alone as she has the answers to her questions.

On the next General Hospital: Carly asks Willow to prepare herself.  Britt tells Michael they need to find Willow now. Obrecht says Sonny Corinthos will feel her wrath. Felicia spends time with Bailey. Nina asks Sonny if he was looking for her.
