Michael and Kiki wander the hospital discussing wrestling. She announces they are having dinner with her mom. He's not thrilled and reminds her that AJ was shot in her penthouse. He thinks visiting may give him some closure and mentions how much he wishes his father's killer was rotting in the ground.

Ava returns to the penthouse with groceries. Her brother teases her for taking the risk. She's making dinner for Kiki and Michael. He guesses she is going ahead with the boss' plans. Ava assures him she'll be subtle and pulls out a vial of poison. He'll die in his sleep hours later. Only moments later, Michael and Kiki arrive with some sparkling cider. As Ava sadly heads for the kitchen, Michael paces around and feels uncomfortable. He insists on staying. Ava returns in her apron to say she is ordering in but made the dessert herself. Julian takes off, quietly cracking a joke to his sister about 'death by chocolate' on the way. The three sit down to an awkward dinner. Michael assures Ava he will be part of the baby's life, regardless of who the father is. He barely eats, even though the meal consists of his favorites. "It's like you cooked him his last meal," Kiki says. She points out that AJ was shot there. Ava tries to be sympathetic. Once they are all stuffed, Ava brings out chocolate mousse for dessert.

At his office, Sonny is on the phone advising Shawn to keep an eye on things. Dante shows up. He tells his father about the kidnapping and asks if he knows anyone who would fence Aztec jewels. Sonny suggests he talk to Coleman. Once Dante leaves, Julian arrives.

Nikolas is barking at his security guys over the phone at the PCPD. Britt and Liz run in to worry with him about his sister. They try to be reassuring. Some cops run by, talking about a 'floater' by the pier. Nathan emerges to explain it wasn't Maxie. The cop and Britt go off into a corner. She can see he's distraught about Maxie and suggests that he take a page out of their mother's book. Meanwhile, Liz worries about the prince. He admits he didn't spend last night alone and makes excuses. She runs off to make a call. When she comes back, she catches Britt alone and accuses her of exploiting tragedy. The doctor explains she and the prince were about to have sex with Liz called.

Ned and Olivia go to The Floating Rib. She worries about her son not returning her calls. They share memories of Lois and Patrick Swayze. She wonders what he did for fun. "My aunt Monica," he says. He explains the story of their affair. Coleman strolls by. He's filling in for Mac. He tells them about the kidnapping. Liv panics. Dante runs in and grabs Coleman, smashing his face into the pool table and demanding some answers. Coleman insists he didn't know that anyone was going to get hurt. Nathan arrives and Coleman explains how he got involved with Scribs and Levi.

At the cabin, Maxie gets one hand free but Levi returns. She wants to know where Lulu is and lectures him about karma. Lulu and Scribs come in with supplies. Maxie reaches for the gun Levi left on a box. She knocks it on the floor. Lulu grabs it. She tries to hold the men back. Levi grabs his partner's gun and then threatens to shoot Maxie. Lulu gives up the gun and the women are tied up again. Maxie blames herself for everything. She starts mocking Levi's inadequacies in the sack and asks them to let them go. Levi has no intention of letting that happen and starts waving his gun. Later, Nathan and Dante kick the door of the cabin open and are shocked by what they see.
