Alone in his cell, Todd reads aloud his apology letter to Carly. He hopes it is not too late for them. John interrupts and teases Todd about not counting on getting Carly back. He takes a quick picture of Todd with his cell phone and encourages him to "work it." Todd calls out John for judging him, because he is no different than him. They both act without thinking and disregard the rules when it suits them. John never swapped babies, but he did cheat on his wife. Todd is going to prove to John he is one of the good guys and get Natalie and Liam back. Todd can go to war with Clint on John’s behalf. It will be hard to do that from Pentonville, so John needs to get him out. He wants John to find something that taints the case. He offers to put a million dollars into Liam’s college fund. Todd is bribing John, who has taped the whole thing. He needs insurance in case Todd walks on these charges. Todd is confident Diane will get this thrown out. John leaves Todd to his writing. It will need a lot more work.
Second Chance, All Expenses Paid.
Carly and Connie go on benders, Olivia has another vision, and Kristina tries to take matters into her own hands.
Carly drops by Michael’s place to see him but Starr is there alone. She can tell Carly is upset and she admits she dropped Todd. He swore on Starr’s life he was innocent. Starr wonders why Carly even believed him. Carly admits she wanted to. Todd said he was her friend and a friend takes your side even when they are wrong. She would have been that to Todd if he trusted her. Carly realizes she is trashing Todd to his own daughter and instantly regrets it, but Starr understands. They turn their talk to Michael and Starr thinks Carly should let him have his own relationship with AJ. Carly fears AJ sees Michael as a trophy. She encourages Starr to go to Michael and Trey. They are lucky to have her.
At the hospital Olivia is worried about Steve. He tells her not to worry. There is a wedding, a grandchild and a honeymoon coming up. Why be upset? She is sad she never got to know her cousin’s son. Now she never will and neither will Kate. Outside Trey’s room Kristina blames Sonny for Connie’s escape. Sonny defends Connie. He believes she was truly broken up about Trey. They split up to search for Connie and Alexis finds Kristina with her hand on the plug in Trey’s room and stops her. Alexis tells her it will be considered murder. Kristina worries Connie is gone for good. Meanwhile, Olivia has a vision and thinks Connie is doing shots at the Floating Rib. Sonny leaves to check it out. Starr encourages Michael to call Carly. She is in bad shape because of Todd.
Connie orders another drink at The Floating Rib. She spots AJ and offers to buy him one and he agrees. Coleman is happy to see Kate and she wonders if he wants to take a spin for old times’ sake. He doesn’t need trouble with Sonny, and AJ’s ears prick up. Coleman spots AJ and Connie realizes they know each other. AJ admits Michael is his son and he hasn’t had a drink in years. He tells her that his big plans for Michael and ELQ fell apart. She tells him about the son she will never get to know too. They raise their drinks but he doesn’t touch his. Carly walks in and Connie can’t believe it is skank night at The Floating Rib, getting a chuckle from AJ. Carly rages on Connie until she throws her glass on the ground and tells Carly to leave her the hell alone. AJ gives Carly his drink – he won’t be needing it. Carly gets her own booth and tells Coleman to keep the drinks coming. Meanwhile, Connie and AJ hit the jukebox. He likes the idea of getting rid of their problems for the night. She sees Sonny come in and grabs AJ and starts making out.
Monday’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:
Sonny tells Connie they are taking Trey off the ventilator and she protests.
Kristina realizes that soon, Trey will be gone.
Johnny asks Todd if he has accepted his fate. "Hell no," he replies.
Tracy tells Michael and Starr that AJ lost.
Connie encourages AJ to drink with her.
