General Hospital: Night Shift Cast Announced!
Lainey, Kelly, Stan, Max...we'll finally get to see more!
Soaps.com has just heard the breaking news of which of our favorite younger General Hospital cast members will be pulling double duty by doing TWO soaps! For starters, Billy Dee Williams will play a man with a haunted past named Toussaint. Who will be on those familiar sets with Mr. Williams? With no further ado, the daytime characters/actors that will be on SOAPnet’s primetime spin-off is as follows:
 Steve Burton (Jason Morgan)
 Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio)
 Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake)
 Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones)
 Julie Marie Berman (Lulu Spencer)
 Natalia Livingston (Emily Quartermaine)
 Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Spencer)
 Kent King (Lainey Winters)
 Jason Gerhardt (Coop Barrett)
 Josh Duhon (Logan Hayes)
 Lindze Letherman (Georgie Jones)
 Kiko Ellsworth (Stan Johnson)
 Sonya Eddy Epiphany Johnson)
 Minae Noji (Kelly Lee)
 Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli)
 Adrian Alvarado (Cruz Rodriquez)
 Derk Cheetwood (Max Giambetti)
 Richard Gant (Russell Ford)
 Wendy Braun (Ms. Sneed)
These are going to be very busy actors because in addition to their work on GH they start taping the new show on April 20 (for a July debut that contains 13 episodes). Fear not -- none of these people are leaving our daytime show! Soaps.com hears that the shows will remain entirely separate in their storylines so that fans won't have to watch one show in order to follow the other. But with this cast, we're guessing that plenty of soap lovers will crossover to SOAPnet in July to see what else is going on in our favorite Port Charles' resident's lives.
