Updated February 21: Tajh Bellow’s episode of Bunk’d, titled Lava at First Sight, premieres on the Disney Channel February 21 at 8:00 PM. Bellow plays the character Ava’s (Shelby Simmons) brother Alex who Lou (Miranda May) develops a crush on when he visits Camp Kikiwaka. The episode can also be viewed online at DisneyNOW.

On October 15, 2019, Soaps.com reported on Tajh Bellow’s many projects and activities outside of General Hospital. In addition to sharing his workout activities on Instagram, the General Hospital actor posts about opportunities he’s been pursuing outside of the ABC soap opera. Most recently, Bellow shared a photo on Instagram Stories of his dressing room door on the set of the Disney show Bunk’d. A spin-off of Jessie, the kids’ comedy began airing in 2015 and centers around the Jessie kids who attend summer camp in Maine where their parents met as teenagers. Earlier this year, Bellow also posted about a short film he appeared in that was accepted at the Amazon Prime Video All Voices Film Festival, which has since concluded. Run Free is about an African-American country singer who is “forced to choose between career and cause” when he has the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a High School Football State Championship. Of the short, Bellow wrote, “Telling stories that need to be heard is a tremendous blessing. I’m thrilled to be part of this immensely relevant project.”

Outside of acting, Bellow is enrolled at California State University Los Angeles where he is studying sociology. Posting his school ID next to his General Hospital badge, he said, “These two ID’s symbolize countless years of past dedication while representing the future and journey ahead. It’s never too late to pursue a higher education, and it’s never too late to chase after your dreams. Maintaining a solid career as an actor, while concurrently studying Sociology has been tough AF; but it’s taught me the most valuable lesson. If there’s a will, there’s a way. Next week marks the beginning of this new endeavor✊🏾🔥” Bellow further shared photos from volunteering with his school at Seeds of Hope, an organization that turns “unused land into gardens and orchards; which provide fresh produce to families that don’t have access to quality nutrition.”
