GH Actors Answer Burning Questions, Talk On-Set Pranks & Personal Lives
General Hospital cast members answer fans’ questions on Facebook Live.
Recently General Hospital’s Chad Duell (Port Charles’ Michael Corinthos), Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait), Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore), and Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) sat down to answer fans questions about the show, themselves and their characters. Duell tackled whether things would work out for him and Mattsson, or if his character’s love life is simply doomed. He joked given his history, a crane could likely fall on Sasha and kill her. Mattsson was asked about Sasha lying about being Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter, a storyline many Soaps.com readers are eager to see revolved, and while she couldn’t answer if or when the truth would come out, she did explain there is a backstory yet to be revealed as to why her character was doing this. They also played a little round of what if, imagining what job they’d like to see their characters take on aside from what they currently do. Duell would love for Michael to be a cop, or a serial killer. When asked about a favorite memory or episode, Swickard and MacMullen agreed the Nurses’ Ball sticks out to them because it’s like summer camp for the cast, they get to all be together and sing, dance and just have fun.
They also discussed their lives offset. Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) trolled the chat and asked Duell how much he learned from living with the incredible Benard for three weeks. Duell explained he lived with Benard while his own house was being built, and he got to know the actor on a much different level, and he is the complete opposite of Sonny. They discussed hanging out together and playing trivia games, and the pets they have. When questioned regarding any charities or causes they are passionate about, Duell revealed animal rights and the environment are close to his heart, and he’s been pondering making the switch to being a vegetarian. Swickard, in the past, was very involved in My Father’s House, a charity which seeks to build homes for underprivileged families.
You can watch the entire thirty-minute video below, in which they also discuss a recent prank James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) played on the cast.
