Donnell Turner & Morgan Fairchild in Amazon’s ‘Too Old to Die Young’

General Hospital actor in new crime drama.
General Hospital actor and Days of our Lives alum, Donnell Turner (Dr. Aiden Williams), who plays Curtis Ashford on the ABC soap opera, has a role in an episode of Amazon’s new crime drama series Too Old to Die Young as a character named Gary. Soaps.com has the details on the first season of the series, which surrounds the story of Detective Martin Jones, who not only works to solve crimes, but also leads a double life as a killer for hire in the dark underbelly of Los Angeles. Following an existential crisis, Jones plunges deeper into the bloody and violent world.
Actor Miles Teller, known for movie roles in Fantastic Four and Allegiance, stars as Martin Jones, along with William Baldwin (Backdraft) as Theo. Other cast members include Augusto Aguilera (The Predator) as Jesus, Cristina Rodlo (Miss Bala) as Yaritza, Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones) as Jani, Jena Malone (The Hunger Games) as Diana, John Hawkes (Everest) as Viggo, Babs Olusanmokun (Black Mirror) as Damian, Gino Vento (Mayans MC) as Jaime, and Joanna Cassidy (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Blade Runner) as Eloise. Morgan Fairchild, of Falcon Crest fame, who appeared on daytime’s Bold and the Beautiful as Dorothy in 2009 and on Days of our Lives as Anjelica Deveraux in 2017, also makes an appearance in one episode as an actress.
Too Old to Die Young was written by Danish screenwriter, Nicolas Winding Refn (Valhalla) and American comic book writer Ed Brubaker, with Refn also directing. The series, which was shot in Los Angeles, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico, premiered on Amazon Video on June 14 with season one consisting of 10 episodes.
