Former soap opera star welcomes child.
Soaps.com is exited to announce that General Hospital alum Julie Berman (ex- Lulu Spencer Falconeri) recently gave birth to a baby boy. Along with husband Michael Grady, who she married on August 15, 2008, welcomed a son, Asher Dean, on Monday February 18. The former soap opera actress announced the news via her social media with a video timeline beginning with a photo of her husband on May 9, 2018 popping a champagne bottle cork, presumably to celebrate the couple’s pregnancy news. From there, Berman shared various milestones throughout her pregnancy, from sonograms to her developing baby bump, and captioned the video with a final photo stating, “Surprise…!”
Berman played the role of Lulu Spencer Falconeri from 2005 to 2013 and crossed over to the soap’s spin-off General Hospital: Night Shift in 2007. Since leaving daytime behind, the actress has had roles in films and primetime including Two and a Half Men as Sarah, Chicago Med as Dr. Sam Zanetti, Hallmark’s Love on Ice as Emily James and most recently playing Leia on Casual. Prior to her GH role she played Shelby Connor on 7th Heaven for two years as well as appeared on ER, Once and Again, Boston Public, Sand Sharks and The March Sisters at Christmas. Not only was she nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress for her General Hospital role in 2007, she went on to take home Emmys in 2009 and 2010 as well as 2013 in the Outstanding Younger and Supporting Actress categories.
Soaps.com sends Berman and her family our very best.
