Second Annual General Hospital Convention Announced
A weekend of fun with your favorite actors from Port Charles!
After a successful First Annual General Hospital Convention, a second one has been planned for the weekend of March 10 and 11, 2018, to take place at the Marriott Burbank Airport. The convention brings many of Soaps.com readers’ favorite stars together with the fans, and also will celebrate the incredible 55th anniversary of “General Hospital.” Meet your favorite actors and interact with them in unique ways not seen at other events. This convention is different from any you’ve ever been to before. You are guaranteed you a seat to see all the stars, so there’s no camping out or hoping to just catch a glimpse. The energetic, entertaining and super-fan friendly Matt Cohen (Griffin Munro) and Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) will host the entire weekend. They’ll be on stage introducing the guests, events and special panels both days, and they’ll be there to make sure everyone has a blast! Currently scheduled to appear, though subject to change, is Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), William deVry (Julian Jerome), Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), and James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine). More stars will be announced over the coming weeks! More information is available at the Second Annual General Hospital Convention site.
The weekend will involve autographs, photo-ops, question and answer sessions, three different types of trivia games all with a chance to win awesome prizes, a chance to view the beloved Christmas blooper reel that production puts together for the cast, a vendor area featuring official “GH” products and exclusives. Gold and silver ticket holders will be able to tour the actual “GH” sets, which includes the chance to take photos. Two lucky fans who purchase gold, silver, copper or general admission weekend ticket packages will be randomly selected to win a walk-on role on the show.
Ticket prices vary by package. The gold weekend admission ticket is $559 and includes a set tour, priority lines, early access to merchandise area, reserved seats you get to keep, and more.
