On July 31, 2017, we reported that General Hospital’s Robert Palmer Watkins (Port Charles’ Dillon Quartermaine) is set to begin filming the lead role in the gritty neo-noir crime thriller Last Three Days. Watkins shared his excitement on Instagram, where a teaser trailer for the project can also be seen. The film is from writer/director Brian Ulrich. This is Ulrich’s first full feature film, having previous written and directed shorts such as After Fred and The iLife.

Last Three Days is a homage to the days of the classic crime noir thrillers. The film centers on Jack (Robert Palmer Watkins), a straightlaced undercover cop who wants to be a real hero, everything his father was not. Jack’s lovely wife, Beth (Deborah Lee Smith, The Sound), works late nights as a nurse and struggles to maintain their relationship given their busy jobs. To make matters worse, Jack gets caught up in a crime syndicate that is flooding the LA streets with a new dangerous and mysterious mind-altering drug. After a sting operation goes wrong, Jack wakes up to discover that his partner has disappeared, his wife has vanished, and he’s missing the last three days of his life. It’s a race against time for Jack to rectify his mistakes, rescue his wife, and stop a gang war from ravaging the city. The film also co-stars Thomas Wilson Brown (The Mooring), Clint Jung (Ray Donovan), Matt Jayson (Transparent) and Carson Nicely (Nocturnal Animals).

Last Three Days is being financed in part by Kickstarter. Robert Palmer Watkins is no stranger to independent films, having previously stared in the indie film Back to Awesome, as well as the romantic comedy Bad Sex W/Good People. Last Three Days is currently in production. will keep you updated as information on a release date is made available.
