General Hospital star’s father hospitalized.

Brytni Sarpy, who was just moved to recurring status on General Hospital, recently revealed that her father was hospitalized for Parkinson’s Disease. Sarpy plays Port Charles’ police officer Valerie Spencer. She posted a photo of her father to Instagram, which he humorously tried to block her from taking, and wrote, “For everyone who has asked, my dad’s been in the hospital, not me. He’s feeling much better but can definitely use your love and prayers… just don’t tell him (if you know him) that I posted this, he didn’t find the humor in me documenting his trip, and has been trying to break out of the hospital all day…” sends healing wishes and positive thoughts to the family.
