Vinessa Antoine launches cooking site in honor of her two sons
Cooking for single moms on a budget.
“General Hospital’s” Vinessa Antoine, who joined the show as Port Charles’ Jordan Ashford in March of 2014, has launched a new website called Cooking for Little Men. On it she chronicles her humorous adventures of raising her two magnificent boys as a single mother, their love quest for quality and delicious food on a budget, and her life in film and television. The site features recipes for full meals, drinks, snacks and sweets.
On the site Antoine opens up about her past relationships and cooking. “Ironically, I ended up cooking for a couple of not so top shelf men in my past. I mean, haven’t we all been taught that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach? I most definitely am guilty of slaving over a stove for the love of a man’s heart. What I found was that I got really good at prepping a meal. Not so good at choosing the right partner.” However Antoine did find two right men, her sons, and cooking for them and being a single mom is what inspired her to launch the site. “This blog… It’s not just for single parents. It’s for anybody that wants to try some recipes, connect, and be inspired. I hope to share some of those experiences with you. I promise to keep it honest and true. I will always have a special place in my heart for single moms.”
