>Original story August 29: “General Hospital’s” Matt Cohen will recur on season two of “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” as reported by TVLine. Cohen will play IRU team leader Jack Garrett’s (Gary Sinise) son Ryan, who is on track to become a top FBI agent just like his father. Cohen will make his debut during the season premiere of the CBS drama, which is set to begin mid-season in early 2017. Cohen isn’t the only “GH” star to turn up on the show. Brooklyn Rae Silzer appeared on season one of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders in the episode “De Los Innocents.”
Cohen joined GH in February as Dr. Griffin Munro. Since then the mysterious Griffin has been revealed to be the late Duke Lavery’s (Ian Buchanan) son, a priest, and Claudette Bowen’s (Bree Williamson) secret lover. In addition to “GH,” Cohen has also appeared on “South of Nowhere” and “Supernatural” as a young John Winchester. Executive Producer Adam Glass gave Cohen, along with several actors from “Supernatural” joining the show, a shout-out on Twitter.
