No information is known on her role right now. Netflix is planning four brand new 90 minute episodes of the classic series, which ran on The CW from 2000 until 2007. The show is tentatively set to premier on Christmas Day, 2016. Each of the episodes will take place in one of the four seasons over the course of a year. Most of the original “Gilmore Girls” stars are back to reprise their roles, including Lauren Graham (Lorelei), Alexis Bledel (Rory), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess), David Sutcliffe (Christopher), Jared Padalecki (Dean), and just announced Melissa McCarthy (Sookie). New additions to the cast will include Mae Whitman (“Parenthood”) and Sutton Foster (“Younger”).
