Original Story June 3:
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Jonathan Jackson (Port Charles' Lucky Spencer) and Nathan Parsons (Ethan Lovett) are returning to "General Hospital." Both actors are only returning for a short period as part of Anthony Geary's grand farewell from General Hospital this summer.
Jackson and Parsons play the sons of Luke Spencer (Geary), though they have not been a part of the show for several years now. Jackson left in 2011 and has since found success as Avery Barkley on ABC's "Nashville." Parsons currently stars as Jackson on The CW's "The Originals" and also had a role as the vampire James on "True Blood" after leaving "GH" in 2013. Both returns come hot on the heels of the announcement that Emma Samms is returning to General Hospital. Samms plays Holly Sutton, the mother of Parson's character. No airdates are yet known for the actors, but Soaps.com will keep you informed as soon as they become available.
