In this week’s Throwback Thursday poll, Soaps.com takes readers back to 1980 when “General Hospital’s” Frank Smith was accused of hiring a hitman…
Duke Lavery put out a hit this week in Port Charles, and back then, Captain Ramsey had Frank and his lawyer brought into the police station because he believed Frank had hired Jefferson ‘Hutch’ Hutchins to kill Luke and Laura Spencer. Frank signed a statement attesting that he had no knowledge of certain deceased people or Hutch. After Frank signed the statement he expected to leave, but Ramsey told him he would be booked and sent to a jail cell. Ramsey took a call from Joe Kelly over at General Hospital, who told him Hutch was alive and going into surgery with Rick Webber operating.
Ramsey relayed to Frank that Hutch was alive and warned, “Professional killers have a habit of singing like a canary once they’ve been caught.” Ramsey then divulged that he had another key piece of evidence that incriminated Frank. Do you remember what that was? Vote in our “General Hospital” poll:
