Robert “Bob” Bardo, a former coordinating producer for “General Hospital” from 1986 until 1994, passed away on December 20, 2014 at the age of 71. Bardo won a Daytime Emmy in 1995 as part of the “General Hospital” team. He later went on to help launch Aaron Spelling’s “Sunset Beach” and NBC Studios’ “Passions” for NBC.

Bardo joined Dick Clark Productions as a television production executive in 2002 and worked for the company until 2013. While there Bardo worked on the Academy of Country Music Awards, the American Music Awards, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” and the Golden Globe Awards.’s thoughts and prayers are with Bardo’s friends and family.
