Animal rights.

“General Hospital” actress Laura Wright (Port Charles’ Carly Corinthos Jacks) is a devoted pet owner and animal lover. Recently she, her husband, and their children adopted a Border Collie-German Shepherd puppy named Fire, whom they fell in love with at Old Yeller Rescue Ranch in Los Olivos, CA.

Because of her love for animals, Wright has enthusiastically agreed to be part of a new campaign on behalf of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Starting June 17, Wright is serving as the face of a unique online partnership between the ASPCA and We-Care, a handy browser app that will donate a portion of shoppers’ online purchases from their favorite shopping destinations to the ASPCA at no extra cost to the shopper.

Wright is encouraging the public to take the small step of signing up for We-Care to help make a big difference for animals in need. You can find out more about the campaign and how the browser app works by visiting We-Care.
