Two General Hospital Women Land Pilots. (Updated!)
Updated on April 2
Soaps.com has learned that Claire Coffee has not one, but two pilots ready for consideration in the network fall lineup. She completed work on an action comedy called “Ashley The Wise” in March, in addition to the comedy “This Might Hurt” as reported below. Good luck Claire!
(As reported on March 20)
While the rest of the country eagerly waits for the scent of spring flowers, it would appear pilot season is what’s filling the Hollywood air. For starters, Carolyn Hennesy (General Hospital’s Diane Miller) has just landed a spot in Courtney Cox’s pilot project entitled “Cougar Town.” If the show is picked up by a network, Carolyn will play a conservative real estate agent named Barbara by day and a ‘cougar’ by night. Sound familiar? Legal beagle Diane Miller has been known to show a different side once the sun goes down as well. Does the biker bar storyline ring a bell?
Also, Claire Coffee (General Hospital’s Nadine Crowell) will play in a sitcom this fall called “This Might Hurt” on ABC. The roll came to her just days after being downgraded to recurring status on the soap. She will play Claire Keating in the show about a pediatrician and his internist son (played by Tom Amandes and Josh Dean).
