Chuckles, giggles and laughs.

Comedy Central recently taped the “Comedy Central Roast of James Franco” that is set to air on September 2. “Hey, ya’ll what’s up? I’m going to get roasted on Comedy Central. Be sure you check it out. They wanted me to tell you that. Alright. Haha.”

That same night, the network will also debut “Francophrenia,” a film directed by Franco about his experience playing a version on himself on “General Hospital.” “If only James Franco was a more successful, multi-hyphenated, incessant creative risk taker in different media, he’d be the perfect person to roast. Oh well, I suppose we’ll just have to make do,” stated Kent Alterman, President, Content Development & Original Programming, Comedy Central.
