The new D.A. in town.

Christopher B. Duncan (D.A. Campbell) has recently been seen prosecuting Starr (Kristen Alderson) and Maxie (Jen Lilley) in Port Charles. You may have seen him somewhere else before, however. The actor has had recurring roles on “Coach,” “The Jamie Foxx Show,” “Soul Food,” “The District,” “Veronica Mars,” “Aliens in America,” “Lincoln Heights” and “Jane By Design.” He’s even appeared on Daytime before, playing Donald Marcus on “Days of our Lives” in 2011.

Duncan recently shot the science fiction film “The Congress” with Robin Wright (“The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”) and Harvey Keitel (“Life on Mars’), due out in 2013. But you are likely to see far more of him in the upcoming sitcom, “The First Family.” The series, featuring “Passions” alum Marla Gibbs (ex-Aunt Irma), is about an African American family in the White House. Based on the pilot, 104 episodes of the series were ordered by Tribune, Weigel and CBS. The show will begin airing this fall.
