Superhero crossover.

On April 25, “General Hospital’s” Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will hit a screening of one of the year’s most anticipated movies “The Avengers.” It should come as no surprise that The Jackal is a comic book fan, but he won’t be alone as he bumps into Matt (Jason Cook), who brings along Cameron (Braden Walkes). What happens next is anyone’s guess considering Spinelli started to wonder about Matt’s state of mind the night of Lisa’s (Brianna Brown) murder.

Jason Cook recently talked to Marvel about his love of comic books, attending the red carpet Los Angeles premiere of “The Avengers” and of course “General Hospital.” Of taping the Marvel-centric scene, Cook said, “I thought it would be awesome and allowed us to bring a little bit of our real life, the things we enjoy outside of work, into the professional world while pretending to be these other people.”

Tune in Wednesday to witness the fun “General Hospital”/Marvel comics episode. And hit the theaters May 4 to see “The Avengers.”
