Tristan Rogers on GH

Soaps.com has learned that Tristan Rogers is headed back to General Hospital as Robert Scorpio the week of January 28. Rogers last appeared on GH in August of 2018 when he helped Finn, Chase and Anna in dealing with the return of Cassandra Pierce. On January 25, Anna learns the truth about something, and Robert becomes involved in her mysterious health crisis that recently caused her to go blind.

Updated December 28: Soaps.com has learned that Lynn Herring will be returning to General Hospital on January 3, 2019 for a special tribute episode to honor Susan Brown who passed away in August. Look for Herring to share scenes with Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin).

On March 23, we reported Lynn Herring is returning to General Hospital as Lucy Coe the week of March 26 for the show’s 55th anniversary. She last appeared on GH back in July 2017, as previously reported by Soaps.com, when Carly Schroeder reprised the role of Serena Baldwin on GH in order to bring the news to Scott that his step-father Lee had passed away.

Soaps.com has learned that Chris Van Etten will return to General Hospital as Chet Driscoll for the holidays to offer support to Maxie as she faces her first Christmas without her husband Nathan. The real-life vet first appeared as nurse Amy Driscoll’s brother in November 2017, and Van Etten made another appearance on GH in May of 2018 to check on Maxie after the birth of her son and Nathan’s death.

On October 3 Soaps.com learned that Chloe Lanier will be making a brief return, for a few episodes, to General Hospital as Nelle beginning on Friday October 12, as well as during the week of November 5 and starting again on December 26.

Back on August 3, we reported Chloe Lanier exits General Hospital on August 8, though the door has been left open for her character Nelle Benson to return in the future. As Soaps.com reported on June 28, Chloe Lanier has reportedly decided to leave General Hospital when her current contract ends. Lanier joined GH as Nelle Benson in July of 2016, as previously reported by Soaps.com. However she first appeared in 2015 as a young Patricia Spencer in flashbacks during a special episode dedicated to Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer), who retired from the show that year. The actress is said to be focusing on film and primetime, as reported by Daytime Confidential.

Lanier won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress at this year’s 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. She is said to be taping her final scenes this week, which would put her on air until the end of July.

Updated December 14: Kelly Thiebaud has wrapped up her latest General Hospital return as Britt. In Soaps.com’s recent GH recap Obrecht learned Britt had left town after securing her freedom in exchange for helping Anna capture her mother. On October 23 we reported that Kelly Thiebaud announced on Twitter that her first General Hospital return date as Britt will be Monday October 29 and stated, “My first episode airs Monday October 29th! @GeneralHospital #thebritch.”

On September 29 we reported that Kelly Thiebaud will be making another General Hospital return as Britt Westbourne, aka The Britch. The actress replied to a fan who expressed how much she missed her by saying, “Well no need to miss me cause I’m coming back! #Britch Opens a New Window. ” Look for her return in the beginning of November. On March 2, Kelly Thiebaud (Britt) posted a photo of herself and John York (Mac Scorpio) with the caption, “I love me some John York! #ghalumni” but could this mean a return for “The Britch?” December 8 we reported Kelly Thiebaud first returned to General Hospital that day as Britt Westbourne in scenes with Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). On November 19, Kelly Thiebaud will return to “General Hospital” as Britt Westbourne sometime in December for a brief visit. As Soaps.com previously reported, Kelly Thiebaud left General Hospital in 2014 to pursue other projects, though made a brief visit back in 2015. We will update you as soon as a first date is made available.

Updated December 14: In the December 13 Soaps.com’s GH recap Sasha left Port Charles, but the character and actress Sofia Mattsson will be returning in the future.

Soaps.com reported on September 19 that Sofia Mattsson joined General Hospital on Tuesday September 18 as Sasha Gilmore, the woman Curtis suspects may be Nina’s daughter, as detailed in Soaps.com’s recap. With DNA tests pending to determine if she is or isn’t Nina’s long-lost child, we may see her again in the near future. Mattsson is a Swedish actress currently living and working in LA. She’s appeared in television shows such as Campus Security, NCIS and Two and a Half Men.

Brooklyn Rae Silzer return

Soaps.com has learned that Brooklyn Rae Silzer will be back on General Hospital as Emma Scorpio-Drake to celebrate Christmas with her grandmother Anna Devane and friends in Port Charles on December 27. She wrote on Instagram, “Best day!! My Christmas wish came early @generalhospitalabc !! Super grateful!! 🎄🏥❄️❤️❤️ #generalhospital #gh #familyforever #emmaisback #grateful #blessed.” Brooklyn Rae Silzer last appeared on GH in May when she accompanied Anna, Jason Morgan and her grandfather Robert Scorpio on a spy mission in Europe to locate information on her son Henrik Faison.

Hayley Erin leaves GH

Hayley Erin’s time on General Hospital as Kiki Jerome came to an end on November 28 when Kiki was discovered murdered by Ryan Chamberlain. In October Soaps.com speculated that Hailey Erin may leave GH after landing a role on the Pretty Little Liars spinoff, The Perfectionists. Erin joined the soap in 2015, taking over the role from Kristen Alderson.

tajh bellow cast as gh new tj

Soaps.com has learned that the role of TJ Richmond has been recast. Due to Tequan Richmond leaving General Hospital to play a starring role on Boomerang, Soap Opera Digest is reporting that daytime newcomer Tajh Bellow will debut as TJ beginning on Tuesday November 20.

Soaps.com has learned that Janet Hubert, who played Will Smith’s Aunt Viv on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is joining GH as Yvonne, a potential love interest for Mike. Her character will debut on December 7, according to Entertainment Weekly. Vernee Watson, who plays Stella, also acted on The Fresh Prince as Smith’s mother and Hubert’s sister.
