General Hospital Just Snuck a Recast in Under Our Noses

If General Hospital viewers thought that Charlotte looked a little different during yesterday’s April 11 episode we can assure you that your eyes were not deceiving you. The role is now being played by daytime newcomer AnaSofia Bianchi. The part has been taken over by a few actresses since the character appeared in Port Charles in 2016.

Bianchi made her debut on Monday when Charlotte arrived at the hospital and rushed into her father’s arms. When his not-so-little girl asked how bad things were, in regards to Anna, Valentin didn’t hold back and admitted that her condition was bad but also reminded his daughter that Anna was a fighter and was getting the best care she could get.

Charlotte quickly assumed that Victor had a hand in Anna’s downfall and like her dad, didn’t hold back either and expressed just how much she hated her grandfather. Valentin urged her not to waste her emotions on him and vowed that Victor would be stopped if it was the last thing he did — and we have no doubt that Valentin will keep his promise, even if he faces a long, dangerous road ahead…

Though this is Bianchi’s first daytime role, she broke into the business in 2015 appearing as one of the toddlers on Newsreaders and recently turned up in Lifetime’s 2023 thriller My Sister’s Killer Boyfriend.

Soaps.com sends her a warm welcome and we can’t wait to see how she makes the role of Charlotte her own.
