Port Charles will be a little bit safer now.

Those who watched the Thursday, April 6, episode of General Hospital witnessed Brook Lynn take the stage at the Nurses Ball and finally put Linc in his place — in front of all of Port Charles to see. Not only did she prevent the dirtball music manager from further hurting Blaze, apparently she put a stop to him inflicting his predatory ways on any other talents, including Joss.

Dan Buran, who has played the role on and off since 2020, is leaving the ABC soap, as reported in this week’s issue of Soap Opera Digest. As of yet, there is no word if he’ll turn up again in the future.

For a few years, Linc made Brook Lynn’s life a living hell. What started out as promises to make her a huge star turned into straight-up sexual harassment and blackmail and when Brook Lynn returned to Port Charles in 2019, she was first seen by viewers arguing with Linc via phone.

It wasn’t long after when he appeared in town and ended up working with Valentin and Martin in order to get Brook Lynn’s ELQ shares. Along the way, she turned to Chase for help, and in the end, Brook Lynn exposed him for all of his past wrongdoings at the 2023 Nurses Ball, where Dante forced him to leave for being a public disturbance.

While we send Linc off with a big “good riddance,” we wish Buran the best in his next venture.
