General Hospital Reveals the Star Who’ll Be Bringing Down the House at the Nurses Ball

Get ready for a “shiver-inducing” performance.
It’s no secret that there are going to be some great performances at this year’s Nurses Ball on General Hospital and earlier this week, we alerted fans that there would be a special musical guest who would bring the house down. Among the singing and dancing, viewers can look forward to seeing singer, songwriter and producer Danielle Ponder take the stage while making her acting debut.
On Wednesday, March 8, Ponder entered the ABC studios to film her part for the Nurses Ball festivities and posted a photo of the soaps’ logo on her Facebook…
“Made my acting debut today,” she shared. “Thank you to the amazing team at General Hospital.”
The lawyer-turned-singer hails from Rochester, New York and found her big success after the age of 40. In fact, the change in careers proved to have paid off after her eight-song debut Some of Us Are Brave was released. Described on her official website as a “shiver-inducing mix of pop, R&B, blues, rock, and moody trip-hop topped by Ponder’s celestial voice,” the album was three years in the making and garnered rave reviews.

We are so excited for Ponder’s debut and we can’t wait to hear what she has in store for the residents of Port Charles. And as we all know, the Nurses Ball never goes off without a hitch and there’s always a speck or two of drama thrown into the mix so stay tuned!
