Marcus Coloma’s Final General Hospital Airdate as Nikolas Revealed
In December, we reported that Marcus Coloma would be exiting his General Hospital role as Nikolas for good and now, as confirmed in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the actor will last be seen in the role this week. Fans can also expect to see another actor stepping in to finish up the character’s Port Charles scenes next week. Whether or not Adam Huss will return, remains to be seen.
On Thursday, January 26, his last scene, we watched as Nikolas told Ava that things weren’t what they seemed, and that once the truth came out she would see things differently.
Coloma first broke his silence before the holidays near the end of 2022 to say what an amazing ride he had having played the role of Nik since 2019. He then thanked fans for all of their messages of support and shared, “You are the best.”
Not long after, the ABC soap released a comment as to why Coloma would no longer be in the role and explained that the network and the actor agreed that he “should not film the remaining few days of the year,” as a result of “health issues with his recent Covid exposure.”
A spokesperson for the actor then released a message from Coloma, who praised the “family feel of the ensemble cast” and said how much he “fell in love with the extremely passionate fanbase,” one he’ll always be grateful for.
