General Hospital Cast Photo Reveals Who’s Back in Action — and Who’s Missing!
On May 12, General Hospital shared to Instagram a photo that revealed more than just how tasty-looking were the cakes on set the day of a momentous occasion. “The entire cast and crew were thrilled to celebrate the filming of our 15,000th episode today,” read the soap’s post, “and we wanted to share a little of that excitement with you!
“[The episode] won’t air until June, but who doesn’t love an excuse to eat some cake?” the post continued. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued support.”

Of course, we didn’t just let out a cheer at that news, we also scanned the photo for what intel we could glean. And whad’ya know? Included in the image is Jeff Kober — a sure sign that the actor’s been back taping and that Cyrus Renault will be back this summer to stir up more trouble.
Unless the actor was just there for the cake. No judgment — we would’ve been.
Also telling is the absence of Cameron Mathison, who’ll be MIA as Drew for a bit while he films GAC’s The Christmas Farm in Canada with Jill Wagner. (Read all about it here.) “Miss you guys,” wrote Mathison to his Port Charles fam.
Kathleen Gati (Obrecht) replied to her castmate that she “was in your room today. Stole an orange and left you a cookie!” Seems like a fair trade to us.
Jophielle Love (Violet) exclaimed, “What an amazing day on set today to be with the entire cast — or almost… — to celebrate the 15,000th episode!
“I have done about 70 of these,” added the youngster, “and it feels like so many to me! Congratulations! I feel so lucky to be part of this amazing family.”
