Valentin hasn’t been seen much these past few weeks but his portrayer, James Patrick Stuart, popped in on Twitter over the weekend to give fans an update on his status with the soap. On Saturday, February 26, the ABC actor shared that he has been filming the 8th episode of his new Disney+ comedy series Villains of ValleyView.
“Missing General Hospital very much,” Stuart expressed but was happy to report that “Valentin will be back in March.”

He first announced his new project in May 2021 and assured fans, “I have no plans to hang up Valentin’s dancing shoes any time soon” and went on to share that working on two sets could “create scheduling headaches for some,” but in this case, since the Disney series had plans to film 15 minutes from the General Hospital set, it wouldn’t be a problem for his daytime character.
I am currently working on a Disney Channel comedy pilot. We film 15 minutes from the GH stage so, should the show get picked up for series, and while it would create scheduling headaches for some very cool people, I have no plans to hang up Valentin’s dancing shoes any time soon.

As we reported in December 2021, the series was previously titled Meet the Mayhems and follows a teenager named Havoc who stands tall against villains, which forces her family to relocate to a Texas suburb under new identities — with Stuart playing the role of Havoc’s father.
And the last time we saw Valentin in Port Charles, a restaurant worker found him behind a dumpster and later Valentin suspected his father had something to do with his daughter’s initial disappearance, considering Victor knew just where to find Charlotte after she’d been abducted by Peter. Plus, who could forget that emotional conversation he had with Brook Lynn over why she had lied to him about being Bailey’s father.
Now that Peter is dead, here’s hoping Valentin’s broken heart can heal with a little help from Anna and that their chemistry continues to push them toward something more serious.
Until then, find out where Valentin’s family, the Cassadines, ranked in our gallery of soaps’ richest families.
