If you’re wondering where Sofia Mattsson’s Sasha has been, the actress is currently on maternity leave, as first reported in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, and will be seen less in the coming weeks.

In June, the actress shocked fans with a big surprise — a baby bump that she managed to keep secret for quite some time. Then in August, she shared the first photo of her new baby boy, who was born on Monday, July 26, with husband Thomas Payton.

One of Sasha’s last scenes were earlier this month when she confided in Willow her fears that Brandon was working for the mob again. Carly stepped in to reassure Sasha that Brando was staying on the up and up, especially when she questioned him and he was evasive. It wasn’t until Carly’s bachelorette party when Sasha learned the real reason that Brandon had been so secretive about his work. He turned out to be the entertainment — the stripper! After he explained that stripping and working in a garage were his side gigs, Sasha was okay with it — as long as it brought him home to her and their unborn child every night.

But Brando’s stripping was the least of Sasha problems… His mother Gladys didn’t take kindly to him asking her to move out so Sasha could move in. As long as she can keep his interfering mother in check, everything should be smooth sailing for the couple. Unless, Gladys gets her wish and convinces her son to take the job that mobster Vincent Novak offered him. If we had our way, Brando would stay as far away from the mob, especially Novak, as possible!
