‘Passions’ Star Brook Kerr Lands Role on General Hospital
Actress Brook Kerr, who played Passions’ Whitney Russell Harris-Crane from 1999 – 2007, is set to join the cast of General Hospital, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly. Soaps.com learned that Kerr will be playing a new doctor in Port Charles. The actress later revealed in an Instagram post her character name is Dr. Portia Robinson, a last name she shares with Trina (Sydney Mikayla). Since leaving Passions, the actress has made appearances on numerous TV series including Cane, True Blood, NCIS: Los Angeles, and most recently, Hawaii Five-O. Kerr’s character will first be seen on the ABC soap opera on March 5.
