Updated September 18: Soaps.com readers can expect to see All My Children actor Michael E. Knight on General Hospital beginning Monday September 30. Entertainment Weekly has learned that Knight started filming General Hospital scenes on Tuesday September 10 but will not play his Pine Valley character, Tad Martin – rather one who will get involved in all kinds of shenanigans and dresses in business attire. Head writer Chris Van Etten shared, “There are a number of people in Port Charles who are in trouble and his character will have an impact on how their stories are solved or further complicated.” Look for Knight’s character to cross paths with James Patrick Stuart (Valentine Cassadine).
On August 20, we reported Michael E. Knight, who many Soaps.com readers may know for playing Tad Martin on All My Children from 1982 until 2011, is joining General Hospital in an unnamed role, Soap Opera Digest is reporting. He recently played Dr. Simon Neville on Young and the Restless from 2015 until 2016, and his character of Tad crossed over to One Life to Live from 2002 until 2005.
